NOTE: Can we trust God in equity and righteous judgment? Without a doubt. Sometimes at the time it may not appear so - but always trust Him by faith! Alwaysin perspective He will show up and come through in absolute justice, equity and mercy.“God is nota man that He should lie - neither the son of man that he should repent. Has He not said, and will He not do it? Or has He not spoken, and will He not make it good?”(Numbers 23:19). Oswald Chambers in his writings consistently backs up this conclusion! Read especially his “My Utmost for His Highest,” and reassurance will come to you again and again.

-

The above is an apt verse to undergird this passage. And consider - it was spoken by Balaam - a prophet without integrity - but who in playing chess with God - found himself in a position where he had to prophesy to his own detriment! Sometimes the testimony of an enemy has more credibility than that of a so-called friend!

Truthis at the basis of all the judgment of God. And - Jesus isthe Truth! We can absolutely trust and depend upon God in Christ Jesus!

Read carefully the outlineof this passage. It is not my outline, neither the outline of Ivan Panin! It is the outline of God Himself, based upon His long-ago planned Bible Numerics. God Himself in this manner establishes trustworthy contexts for every word, sentence, paragraph, sectionand bookof the Bible. Panin, before the days of computers, completed by hand this context structure of the New Testament, based on 43,000 manuscript pages of very careful many-columned numbers. To complete the amazing Bible Chronology of God, he established the Old Testament Hebrew verses and paragraphs necessary for this great work.

So - trust God! He desires everyperson come to repentance in the light of certain judgment to come! Those who believe Him and His Word and do so - will surelyexperience His unusual grace and mercy, and escape the certain wrath to come. John Bunyan in his “Pilgrim's Progress” - based on supernatural dreams and visions from God, gives life and reality to this passage. J.A.W.
